Bengaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President D. K. Shivakumar on Wednesday August 17 refused to comment on Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s comment, “Muslim area”.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said that as the statement was made by one of our leaders, I do not want to comment on the same. Let the issue receive an early closure, he wished.
It can be recalled here that Siddaramaiah has created a controversy by stating that the State Government should not put up Veer Savarkar’s poster in Muslim areas, which received widespread criticism from BJP for segregation of Muslim and Hindu area in the nation.
