Bengaluru: Fake helicopter tickets to Vaishno Devi Temple, Techie duped

Bengaluru: A techie from Bengaluru was duped by online fraudsters selling fake helicopter tickets to the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine.

According to reports, the victim searched helicopter booking websites on Google and found a website that sold helicopter tickets online.

The victim received a call from a man named Nitin, who asked that he advance Rs. 38,060. When the victim later tried to call Nitin, his phone was off.

The victim then informed the Vaishno Devi Temple authorities that he had been cheated, following which he made a police complaint.
