Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has urged the top Congressmen to finalise party candidates for upcoming State Assembly elections by the end of November.
He was speaking to mediapersons after his meeting with Congress General Secretary (Organisation) K. C. Venugopal here. He said that he has urged Venugopal to finalise as many party candidates for Assembly election by November end. I have asked him to constitute a steering committee, he said.
Siddu added that early formation of the committee will help better supervise the election preparations.
