Bengaluru: In a tragic incident, a fire broke out at a mattress shop near Kaikondrahalli under Bellandur Police Station Limits here.
The incident took place near Kaikondrahalli on Sarjapur Main Road when the fire broke out at around 8.30 am on Thursday March 9.
Since the mattress shop is located on the main road, the fire has also engulfed the adjoining shops. Lakhs of rupees were in the store in a jiffy. Valuables have been burnt and destroyed. Fortunately, there was no loss of life as no one was present in the shops at the time.
Fire Brigade personnel rushed to the spot and managed to douse the fire.
