Bengaluru: A 25-year-old man from Bengaluru went missing while taking a dip in the Kumaradhara river at Kukke Subramanya Temple on Sunday August 21.
Shivu, a native of Mandya, is the missing youth. He is working in the City.
According to sources, a team of 21 people reportedly visited Horanadu, Shringeri, Kollur, Murudeshwara, Anegudde, Udupi, Kateel, Dharmasthala, and Sauthadka. The group travelled to Kukke Subramanya on Sunday, and after taking Darshan from the deity, the men went into the river to take a bath.
After learning about the incident, the police, fire service personnel, and local expert swimmers searched the river for the missing youth, but they were unable to find him. After dark, the search operation was stopped. The search will resume on Monday, informed officials.
