Bengaluru: A 52-year-old Telangana teacher was arrested after landing with 14 kgs of heroin worth several crores at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA).
Acting on specific information, the teacher was arrested on August 19 soon after he arrived at the airport by officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI).
According to sources, the man who arrived from Addis Ababa had concealed the substance in his baggage wrapped in black by creating false bottoms in them.
