Bengaluru: Milk shortage, Hotel Association writes to KMF

Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Hotels’ Association has appealed to the Karnataka Milk Producers’ Federation (KMF) to temporarily stop the supply of milk to other states due to the high demand for milk.

In a letter to the Managing Director of KMF, Bruhat Bengaluru Hotels’ Association President P. C. Rao, said, there has been a shortage of Nandini milk and Nandini milk products in the recent past. Nandini milk and milk products are increasingly being used in hotels in City. But now the owners are facing a lot of problems as there is not enough milk supply,” he said.

In view of this, the Karnataka Milk Producers’ Federation should temporarily stop the supply of milk to other States. If necessary, it should be imported from other countries to meet the current demand, he said. He appealed to the people to ensure that there is no shortage of milk as it is essential for the common man.
