Bengaluru: Responding to Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Madhuswamy’s alleged viral remarks, “government is not working, we are somehow managing”, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday August 16 tried to undo the damage by stressing that comments were made in a “different context.”
Speaking to mediapersons, the CM said that he is all set to talk to his colleagues in the Ministry who are reportedly upset with the comments made by Madhuswamy. Madhuswamy said that in a different context and hence will talk to him. He had spoken with respect to some cooperative related issue. Soon I will talk to other Ministers as well, he maintained.
It can be recalled here that Ministers S. T. Somashekar and Munirathna openly expressed their ire at the comments made by the Minister.
