Bengaluru: Miscreants break into house, steal jewellery worth 7 lakh

Bengaluru: Unidentified thieves broke into a woman’s home, tied her, and fled with gold jewellery.

The incident happened on the night of Friday while the victim, Rihan, was alone at home in Abbigere, which is within the jurisdiction of Gangammana Gudi Police Station.

Rihan was threatened with weapons by robbers who broke into the house. They allegedly tied her up and took the gold and bangles by force after she raised an alarm. Later, they ransacked the house and fled with Rs. 7 lakh worth of gold jewellery.

When Rihan’s family returned home, they found her semi-conscious and took her to the hospital.
A police case was later filed and the Gangammana Gudi police are investigating the case.
