Bengaluru: Congress MLA K. R. Ramesh Kumar on Thursday July 21 claimed that the party men have accumulated enough wealth to last for three to four generations, all in the name Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi.
Kumar made this embarrassing statement at Congress party’s protest in the City to condemn the Enforcement Directorate’s summons to Sonia Gandhi in connection with a money laundering case. The statement has gone viral causing further shame to the party.
Ramesh Kumar, said, “We have earned wealth sufficient for three to four generations, in the name of Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi. If we don’t come forward to sacrifice today, our food will rot in the future.”
