Bengaluru: Mobile thieves pose as bus passengers, arrested

Delhi Police have arrested a 37-year-old criminal, who is found previously involved in 54 heinous cases, including murder, rape, dacoity, robbery, attempt to murder

Bengaluru: Govindarajanagar Police arrested three persons who allegedly stole phones while posing as BMTC bus passengers.

The arrested suspects are Rizwan Khan (33) of New Gurappanapalya, Nasir (44) of SRK Garden, Jayanagar, and A. Imran Khan (35) of Mysuru’s Nehru Nagar. After their arrest, police said they seized 15 mobile phones worth Rs. 2 lakh, an auto-rickshaw, and a scooter.

According to the police, the gang stole passengers’ mobile phones while riding BMTC buses on Hosur Main Road, BTM Layout, Marenahalli Road (near Jayadeva Hospital), and West of Chord Road.
