Bengaluru: The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in India on Monday January 30 announced that the honorary consulate in the City has become operational and started its services.

Pratap Madhukar Kamath had been appointed as the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco to Karnataka. Karnataka will be under the jurisdiction of the Bengaluru consulate, in addition to the ones in Mumbai and Kolkata that are already operational.

“The choice of Karnataka reflects the importance that the State plays economically in India and also its growing role in many domains of interest,” the statement said.
