Bengaluru: Ahead of the upcoming State Assembly election, independent MLA from Mulabagilu H. Nagesh will join Congress.

Nagesh who was a Minister in Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa led BJP Government later resigned and remained independent.

He is likely to add power to Congress in Kolar District. It can be recalled that Former CM Siddaramaiah has announced contesting from Kolar City Constituency.

Interestingly Nagesh wants to contest against BJP’s Aravind Limbavali from Mahadevapura Constituency in the Bengaluru City limits. He wanted to move from Mulabagilu to Bengaluru.

Presently he is serving as the Chairman of Ambedkar Development Corporation. “I have resigned for my post,” he said.
