Bengaluru: BJP SC Morcha State President and MLC Chalavadi Narayanaswamy has criticised Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah for being a chameleon politician.

Speaking to mediapersons here, he said Siddaramaiah is a chameleon politician who warms his hands when a fire breaks out. “Siddaramaiah was never in favour of internal reservation, he said.

“Siddaramaiah had participated in a massive rally in Hubballi in 2017 when he was Chief Minister where nearly 2 lakh people demanding reservation for the Madiga community had gathered but did not talk about implementing Justice Sadashiva Commission Report’s recommendations. The report did not come up for discussion for six years, including in the Coalition Government. When asked about its implementation by some MLAs of the party, Siddaramaiah had said that Mallikarjun Kharge, Dr. G. Parameshwara and H. C. Mahadevappa were opposed. If we come to power, we will implement it,” he said.
