Hoysala Police Patrol teams rescued two women in distress in separate incidents reported in Bengaluru on Saturday, showcasing the quick response of the city’s emergency policing system.

Woman rescued after domestic quarrel

In the first incident, personnel attached to K R Puram Police Station rescued a homemaker from Ayyappa Nagar who was reportedly under severe emotional stress following a domestic quarrel.

Police said a distress call was received through the Namma 112 emergency helpline around 4.14 pm.

Acting swiftly, the Hoysala patrol team rushed to the location and intervened before the woman could allegedly harm herself.

Officials stated that the woman was counselled and shifted to safety. Police also advised family members to provide emotional support and seek professional counselling if required.

Authorities said the timely response by the patrol teams helped prevent a possible tragedy.

Police officials reiterated the importance of using the Namma 112 emergency service during situations involving emotional distress, domestic conflicts, or immediate danger.
