Bengaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar slammed the State Government for a metro pillar collapse which claimed the lives of Tejaswini and her son on Tuesday January 10. He termed the incident as a result of the 40 per cent commission government.
Shivakumar said that the development projects have no quality.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the kin of the deceased will receive compensation in the amount of Rs. 20 lakh. The BMRCL announced Rs. 20 lakh compensation for them. According to a statement made by the BMRCL, the company will also cover the victims’ medical expenses.
