Bengaluru: PM Modi condoles Minister Katti’s death

Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences on Wednesday September 7 for the death of Minister Umesh Katti who passed away following heart attack.

Minister Katti (61) died on the night of Tuesday September 6.

PM Modi tweeted, “Shri Umesh Katti Ji was an experienced leader who made rich contributions to Karnataka’s development. Pained by his demise. My thoughts are with his family and supporters in this tragic hour. Om Shanti.”

The BJP leader is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
