Bengaluru: PM Modi, President Murmu wish CM on birthday

Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Draupadi Murmu are among several leaders who wished Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on his 63rd Birthday celebrations on Saturday January 28.

The PM called up Bommai and not only wished him but also prayed for a healthy life to serve the people along with working for the overall development of the State.

President Draupadi Murmu and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also telephoned Bommai and wished him.

As Union Home Minister Amit Shah is in Karnataka, he presented a bouquet and wished the CM.

Former CM B. S. Yediyurappa, Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi, State BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel, also wished CM on his birthday.

In the morning, the CM Bommai visited the memorial of his parents in Hubballi and took their blessings.

Speaking to mediapersons he said “that whenever I visit Hubballi I visit the memorial of my father and mother to take inspiration from them.”

” My father was a strong believer in works and mother was interested in spirituality. Both of them are the source of inspiration for me always.”
