Bengaluru: In an unfortunate turnaround, the Police Inspector of K. R. Puram here died due to cardiac arest on Thursday October 27, the day after he was suspended for alleged dereliction of duty.
The deceased has been identified as Nandeesha. He was suspended after the Central Crime Branch (CCB) alleged that he allowed the bars and restaurants in K. R. Puram to function beyond permissible time.
An inquiry by the Department was also begun after Nandeesha’s suspension.
