Bengaluru: All India Congress Committee General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi is likely to participate in the Congress Padayatra in the City on Monday August 15.
“We are creating a new history through this padayatra in the State,” said party State Unit President D. K. Shivakumar.
According to the Congress sources, Gandhi is likely to participate in the padayatra before attending a massive convention at Basavanagudi National College grounds. There will not be any speeches in both the events.
According to the sources, the Congress is planning to bring together 1 lakh party cadres and public in this padayatra to ready the party for the 2023 State Assembly election.
Congress which is confident of regaining power in the State has decided to keep the momentum alive through series of events.
