Bengaluru: There is a difference between Kayaka and Kartavya (duty). The real Kayaka provides a space for others to grow together. Basavanna’s ‘ Work is worship’ is of the same ideology, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Speaking after inaugurating the Veerashaiva-Lingayat Global Business Conclave-2023 and a mammoth Job mela organised by International Lingayat Youth Forum and Vijayananda Travels Private Limited here on Friday January 20, he said usually there will be seniors while building any community but now the youths are doing it. The Association has been started with a pristine mind. They don’t need any guidance as they follow their conscience, as Basavanna also taught, he added.
Bommai said their leader B. S.Yediyurappa has grown on his hard work. He not only served as the Chief Minister but also as a leader. A real leader will remain in the hearts of the people. Yediyurappa is our role model.
Bommai said the community has good businessmen like Vijay Sankeshwar, Murgesh Nirani and Prabhakar Kore who have made huge progress. They made a humble beginning but have grown on a big scale. Theirs is a farming community and have a close connection with the soil. Such people will be honest. The community will be protected by its profession. There is nothing called luck as a good return is guaranteed if they work hard. The government will support the community in whatever they want. They were developing the Koodalasangama shrine, said CM.
