Bengaluru: Pvt company registers case on club owners for playing Hindi songs

Bengaluru: A case has been registered against the Indiranagar Club and four others, including Retired IPS Officer B. N. S..Reddy, for allegedly broadcasting Hindi songs at the club without obtaining permission.

A case has been registered against Former IPS Officer and Indiranagar Club, its President B. N. S Reddy, Secretary Nagendra and General Manager Sham Sunder on the basis of a complaint filed by Santhosh, a representative of Mumbai-based Novex Communications Pvt. Ltd.

Novex Communications Pvt. Ltd. has acquired the official right to sing or broadcast the songs of Kaala Chashma of Baar Baar Dekho in Hindi, Choli Ke Peeche from Khalnayak, Chamma Chamma from China Gate, R. Rajkumar’s ‘Gandi Baat’ in any audio, meeting, ceremony, restaurant, club, discotheque, event, and mall.
