Bengaluru Rural: The villagers of Neralooru and Guddahatti Villages have submitted a memorandum to Tahasildar Shivappa Lamani, demanding that a place be identified for the construction of cemetery.
At a programme held at Adigondanahalli in Anekal Taluk of the District people from nearby villages raised a series of problems with Tahasildar Shivappa Lamani and demanded immediate relief.
Speaking on the occasion, the villagers said that industrial waste water is flowing into Mutha Nallur lake and the surrounding lakes are polluted. Therefore, the flow of waste water entering the lake should be stopped, they urged.
“Arrangements for drainage and street lights in Bendiganahalli should be made at the earliest, they said and demanded fulfilment of various demands, including the need for a sewage system in nearby Ambedkar Nagara.
