Bengaluru: Police have arrested the CEO and one of the Directors of NTI House Cooperative Society for selling sites with fake documents.
Seshadripuram Police lodged FIR against the company’s Directors H. M. Shringeswara and K. N. Ramakrishna Reddy, as well as CEO Pratap Chand Rathod. This was in response to a complaint from its former Director A. P. Nanaiah. A police officer reported that among them, Reddy and Rathod had been arrested and were being questioned further.
The co-op was allowed to sell sites in accordance with the approved map by the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA). However, the police complaint states that the accused made fake documents that and sold sites that weren’t on the approved map. Police are looking into who bought and how many sites were sold. According to sources, they are also trying to contact the victims.
