Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who is currently representing Badami in the State Assembly is likely to move to any constituencies near the City citing his age as the reason.
“Due to age, he can’t visit Badami often. So, he is interested to select any constituencies around Bengaluru,” said his son Dr. Yatheendra Siddaramaiah. “2023 will be his last election,” added Yatheendra.
In the 2018 Assembly election, Siddu contested from two constituencies i.e. Chamundeshwari and Badami. He lost in Chamundeshwari while in Badami he defeated BJP candidate B. Sreeramulu by a slender margin.
