Bengaluru: Solar Tender scheme, Government decides on judicial inquiry

Bengaluru: The State Government has decided to carry out investigations into various schemes launched by the Siddaramaiah led Congress Government between 2013 and 2018. As part of this decision, the has government decided to order for judicial investigation into Solar Tender.

Karnatska Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar was the Energy Minister when the State Government launched this scheme.

It has been alleged that within 8 minutes, this Tender process was completed and a few companies were favoured. BJP is alleging that in 8 minutes 295 bidders got approval.

“It will be a judicial investigation. A retired judge will be requested to furnish a report. Decision in this regard was taken by Party High Command,” said a BJP Leader.
