Bengaluru: A speeding car rammed into people standing outside a hotel in north Bengaluru on the night of October 10 Monday, killing a 59-year-old security guard who was waiting to collect a food parcel.
According to the police, preliminary reports indicate that the car’s driver was drunk at the time of the accident.
According to sources, Security Guard J. R. Ravishankar Rao, an ex-serviceman, and two of his colleagues were waiting outside the Durga Military Hotel on Kodigehalli Main Road to pick up a food order when a car rammed into the pavement where they were standing.
