Air quality improves slightly
Bengaluru on Tuesday recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 83, the cleanest level in the past week. This marks a slight improvement from earlier readings that slipped into the “poor” category.
While the improvement is encouraging, experts say consistent pollution-control measures are required to ensure long-term gains.
Heavy rainfall likely in several Karnataka districts
The IMD has also warned of moderate to heavy rainfall across several Karnataka districts, including Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, southern Kodagu, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, and Mandya over the next two to three days.
Coastal and Malnad areas may experience thunderstorms, heavy showers, and gusty winds, prompting authorities to issue cautionary advisories.

Daytime temperatures are likely to stay near 27°C, while minimum temperatures may dip to 17°C.
