Bengaluru: A truck carrying iron sheets and drums caught fire and was destroyed on NICE Road near Kengeri on Sunday October 9.
There were no casualties reported in the incident that occurred at 4.00 pm. A fire tender was called into action.
Traffic was disrupted for over 30 minutes as a result of the incident. The truck’s rear tyres reportedly caught fire first, and it quickly spread to the rest of the vehicle, informed the police. The truck, which was going through the City on its way from Kerala to Maharashtra, had three men. All three managed to escape unhurt.
