Bengaluru: 13-year-old boy Chandru, who was electrocuted while threatening a pigeon with a rod on the upper terrace of his house at Vijayanandanagar under Nandini Layout police limits, also succumbed to his injuries at Victoria Hospital here on Wednesday December 7.

On December 1, Chandru and Supreeth (11) in Vijayanandanagar were electrocuted while catching a pigeon on the terrace of their house. The two were later admitted to the hospital.

Supreeth had died three days ago without responding to treatment. Police said Chandru died on Wednesday December 7.

The boys were playing with a pigeon tied to their legs. The pigeon sat on an electric wire that had passed on the terrace of a house. The boys, who had seen it, were threatening the pigeon with an iron rod when the current hit them.
