Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy has said that he will not speak lightly about former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s Constituency search and his visit to Kolar.
He was replying to a media query at the party’s State Office JP Bhavan, he said “I will not talk about Siddaramaiah lightly. He was a Former Chief Minister, Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. He can contest for elections anywhere he wants. I don’t need silly words that they don’t have a constituency,” he said.
“None of our strategies in Kolar will change as Siddaramaiah is not contesting. In Kolar, our party has capable candidates. Not just Siddaramaiah, our party is not worried about whoever is the candidate,” he said.
The problem for Siddaramaiah in Kolar is the sitting MLA Srinivas Gowda, who gave up on our party. It is the betrayal they have done to us that will be a setback for the Congress party in Kolar this time. Therefore, our party has nothing to worry about,” Kumaraswamy said.
