Bengaluru: A case has been registered against a woman for cheating 3 people of Rs. 36 lakh with a promise of return on investment in the City.
The accused has been identified as Mahalakshmi (42), owner of Mahalakshmi enterprises. The woman is absconding.
It is said that the accused asked gullible persons to invest in the deal to get good returns claiming that she has good contacts with ministers.
However, even after several days, when the accused did not return the money and receiving the calls, a case was filed against her by the victims.
