A shocking video from Bengaluru has gone viral, showing three young men riding a motorcycle recklessly on BTM Road, openly violating multiple traffic rules and raising serious concerns over road safety.

Triple riding and alcohol caught on camera

In the viral footage, the motorcycle is seen carrying three riders, which is illegal under traffic regulations. None of them appear to be wearing helmets.

Adding to the danger, one of the riders is seen holding a beer bottle while the vehicle is in motion, while the pillion rider is visibly drinking from it. The group is also seen making careless hand gestures, showing little regard for safety.

Clear violation of traffic norms

The incident involves multiple violations, including triple riding, riding without helmets, and consumption of alcohol while riding. Such behaviour significantly increases the risk of accidents, not just for the riders but also for other road users.

Experts warn that alcohol impairs judgement and slows reaction time, making such acts potentially fatal in busy urban traffic conditions.

Public outrage on social media

The video has triggered strong reactions online, with several users tagging Bengaluru City Police and demanding strict action. Many have called for cancellation of driving licences, seizure of the vehicle, and legal action against those involved.

However, some reactions also diverted into unrelated debates, drawing attention away from the core issue of public safety.

Rising concern over road discipline

The incident has once again highlighted the growing issue of reckless driving in Bengaluru. With increasing traffic density, even minor violations can lead to serious consequences.

Calls for stricter enforcement

Citizens have urged authorities to strengthen enforcement through regular checks, CCTV surveillance, and swift penalties to deter such behaviour. While officials have not yet confirmed action in this specific case, similar violations have previously led to fines, licence suspension, and arrests.
