bjp disqBengaluru: Hours after the Supreme Court’s judgement on the 17 disqualified MLAs, the BJP state core committee decided to induct them into the party fold.

A decision in this regard was taken during the core committee meeting chaired by the Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa.

The meeting was also attended by senior party leaders including B Sreeramulu, Aravind Limbavali and state unit president Nalin Kumar Kateel.

According to sources, all the 17 disqualified MLAs will join the BJP on Thursday, November 14. They will be given B forms and they will have to submit their nomination papers on Friday for the upcoming by-elections on December 5.

It can be recalled that earlier in the day, Nalin had informed that the fate of the disqualified MLAs, with regard to their future with the BJP, would be decided by the party’s top leadership. He had made these comments while speaking to reporters about his reaction to the Supreme Court’s verdict on the disqualified MLAs.
