Bengaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party in the State would be observing the state-sponsored celebration of Tipu Jayanti on November 10 as a Black Day.

State BJP president B S Yeddyurappa has directed party workers to hit the streets all over the state waving black flags and also said “Court arrest as part of the ‘jail bharo’ agitation.” Addressing the protestors in the city, Yeddyurappa demanded an NIA probe into the killings of RSS workers in the State.

“I will meet Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday to apprise him about the deteriorating law and order situation in the state,” he added.

Meanwhile, Home Minister G Parameshwara has warned BJP leaders of stringent action if they indulge in any unlawful act during the protest against Tipu Jayanti. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for peaceful celebration of Tipu Jayanti.
