Bengaluru: The officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) unearthed huge scams running to several hundred crores in the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) after raids on 27 offices across the City.
It was the first such raid on the BBMP offices by ACB.
Earlier, ACB had sent shock waves to the officials after raiding on the BDA.
According to sources, the raids were led by three Superintendent of Police of the urban division of the ACB.
From corruption in the property tax collection to misappropriation of TDR, advertisement section, the ACB unearthed huge scams in all most all the sections of the BBMP.
Over 200 staff participated in these raids.
