Bengaluru: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has issued showcause notices to three Engineers in the RR Nagar division of the department for substandard work in repairing the road.
After the news of newly laid roads in Bengaluru caving in, surfacing of potholes came to light a day after PM Modi’s visit, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has sought a clarification from the Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Given the seriousness of the situation, Chief Minister Bommai has directed the BBMP Commissioner to launch an investigation into the caving in of road that was constructed just before Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the city.
