Bengaluru: After the Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory in the Raja Rajeshwari Nagar and Sira Assembly bypolls, party national general secretary C T Ravi dedicated their success at the polls to Vishwa Hindu Parishad organising secretary for Kodagu, D S Kuttappa. He also dedicated the victory to other “Hindu karyakartas” who were “murdered during CONgress rule”.
It can be recalled that Kuttappa was killed during the violence that broke out during the first official celebration of the Tipu Jayanti in 2015 in Kodagu.
“Five years ago on this day, VHP leader Sri Kuttappa was killed by Islamic Fundamentalists during @INCKarnataka sponsored Tipu Jayanti celebrations. We dedicate Sira & Rajarajeshwarinagara victories to Sri Kuttappa & Other Hindu Karyakartas who were murdered during CONgress rule,” Ravi wrote in a tweet.
