A shocking case of road rage has surfaced in Bengaluru after a cab driver allegedly attacked a motorist with an iron jack rod during a late-night altercation near BTM Layout. Honking reportedly sparked the confrontation
According to police, the incident occurred after the motorist honked, requesting the cab driver to move aside and allow passage. The seemingly minor disagreement quickly escalated into a violent confrontation.
The viral video shows the cab driver stepping out of his vehicle and allegedly attacking the motorist’s car with an iron jack rod. The accused is also seen attempting to intimidate the motorist before leaving the spot.
Vehicle damaged before accused fled
Police said the cab driver allegedly damaged the motorist’s vehicle during the altercation and fled the scene soon afterwards. Fortunately, no serious injuries have been reported.
Based on the viral footage and preliminary investigation, authorities have identified both the accused driver and the cab involved in the incident.
