Bengaluru: Canara Bank has announced that it will host Canara Utsav 2026, a two-day exhibition dedicated to women’s entrepreneurship, empowerment and the preservation of cultural heritage. The event will be held on February 22 and 23, 2026, at Jayamahal Convention Hall, Jayamahal Road, Bengaluru, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

The initiative forms part of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community development efforts, with a strong focus on supporting women entrepreneurs and local artisans.

Platform for women entrepreneurs

Since its inception, women’s empowerment has been a key objective of Canara Bank. Through Canara Utsav, the Bank aims to provide a structured platform for women-led enterprises and skilled artisans to showcase and market their handmade products to a wider audience.

The exhibition will feature a diverse range of handcrafted items, including organic food products, pottery, traditional sweets, handcrafted jewellery, candles and other artisanal creations.

Celebrating culture and creativity

In addition to product displays and sales counters, the event will include live demonstration stalls such as pottery and mehendi, offering visitors an interactive experience.

By organising Canara Utsav across multiple locations, the Bank continues to promote self-reliance, financial inclusion and sustainable livelihood opportunities for women entrepreneurs, while also preserving and celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage.

The event is open to the public and is expected to attract visitors from across Bengaluru and surrounding regions.
