Chikkaballapura: “There is no alliance with the BJP as I have no soft corner for it. The Government has given the Sahakara Ratna awyard considering the services rendered in the field of cooperation,” said Former MLA K. P. Bachegowda.
Speaking to mediapersons, Former MLA said that the award was based on his services in the field of cooperation and that he did not make any profit out of it. He also asked the Congress party to take the post of President and give the post of Vice-President in the Chikkaballapura Municipal Council. However, they did not agree to that and therefore I supported a non-party candidate for the post of Municipal Council Chairman, he said.
He clarified that he did not support the BJP party and not formed any alliances with the BJP. There was no question of having a soft corner towards BJP, he added.
