Chikkaballapura: Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar has said that the country should be economically strong by using the materials manufactured in the country through ‘Make in India, Made in India’ as promised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He was speaking after inaugurating a khadi festival organised at Vokkaliga Bhavana in the Town. “Gandhiji had dreamt of gram swaraj. The British became financially sound by selling our own cotton-made products to us,” he said.
He added, “Gandhiji understood this and created awareness among the people of the country through the swadeshi vastra movement.”
