Chikkballapur: Around 70 persons had a miraculous escape when a private bus carrying a wedding party met with an accident near Beypapanahalli Gate in Shidlaghat taluk on Thursday.
The bus was on its way back from a marriage function in Sarajapur, Bangalore when the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided into a tree by the roadside at around 12.30 am.
While the front portion of the bus has been completely damaged in the accident, the passengers, residents of Mittemari village in Bageshalli escaped with minor injuries.
A case has been registered in Shidlaghatta Rural Police Station.
