Chitradurga: The Chitradurga-Shivamogga National Highway in Holalkere Taluk has completely submerged in water due to heavy rains. There is a situation where the public is struggling to move.

Due to heavy rains, the pond water has started flowing into the dam. Heavy rains near Halehalla and Shivaganga in Holalkere Taluk have resulted in waterlogging for about a kilometre on the National Highway, affecting vehicular traffic and disrupting normal life.

Therefore, the Government should immediately take note of this and take steps to clear the stagnant water on the National Highway. Free vehicular movement should be facilitated. The public is already struggling to move. Due to heavy rains, fields and fields around Shivaganga Hale Halli and Gilikenahalli too have submerged in water.
