Bengaluru: The city police proposed 25 point advisory to the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) on conducting the Karnataka Premier League (KPL) matches without the fear of match-fixing.
It can be recalled that the CCB police of the city police are investigating alleged match and spot-fixing allegations in the previous editions of the KPL.
City police commissioner Bhaskar Rao confirmed that the police are preparing an advisory to the KSCA to avoid this kind of incidents.
According to the sources, major points of this advisory includes no franchise for any individual or company. The pointer emphasises on franchise ownership to the clubs where elections are held as per the rules etc.
“We will send this advisory to the KSCA soon,” informed Bhaskar Rao.
