Bengaluru: Officials said that the flight Airbus 320 that was coming from Delhi had a tyre burst at 16.21 hours when the plane was landing at the Kempegowda International airport here on Friday..
The Air-India plane which was carrying 164 passengers from Delhi, suffered a tyre burst, however, all of them were deplaned safely, sources said.
AI spokesperson told sources, “The plane, an Airbus 320, suffered a tyre burst immediately after it landed at the airport at 16.21 hours, apparently due to the hot climate in the city today. There were 164 passengers onboard when the incident happened,” the spokesperson said.
Due to the incident, the return flight, which was scheduled to take off at 5 pm departed at 8.40 pm, he said.
