CM Bommai hints at revising State Govt employees’ salaries

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has hinted on Thursday February 17 at revising the salaries of State Government employees constituting the 7th Pay Commission in the upcoming budget.

While replying to the question raised by MLC K. T. Srikante Gowda on disparity in salaries between State and Central Government employees, CM said that the government will come to the decision on constituting the commission in 2022 – 23. The Government has implemented the 6th Pay Commission recommendations. We will present the budget and discuss as well as decide on constituting the commission in 2022 – 23.

Further, Chief Minister appreciated the commitment and work of State Government employees during pandemic. He assured that his government will not ignore the interests of State Government employees.
