CM Bommai likely to visit Davos for WEF’s annual meet - 1 min read

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is all likely to visit Davos for the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Annual Meeting – 2022 to be held from May 22 to May 26. He will hold a series of meetings with top business leaders on the occasion to attract investments into the State.

The sources from CM’s office said that the Government is planning to set up a pavilion at Davos in Switzerland. It can be recalled here that an announcement was also made by the then CM B. S. Yediyurappa from Davos that he would attend the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting, which did not happen due to Covid pandemic.

The State Government is also planning to hold a Global Investors’ Meet in November. Earlier, the State had held Global Investors’ Meet in 2016.
