Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa launched the BJP by-election campaign in 15 assembly constituencies by holding a mammoth rally in Hosakote on Monday, November 4 evening. At the rally, CM BSY assured that his government will extend metro services to Hosakote.
Hosakote is going to by-polls following the resignation of incumbent MLA and former minister MTB Nagaraj. Nagaraj is likely to contest on a BJP ticket.
Addressing the rally, Yediyurappa stated that all the demands made by Nagaraj will be met. “Whatever he asks will be fulfilled,” he announced.

Interestingly, the CM also launched a whooping 150 developmental works in Hosakote at the time of his rally.
Another highlight of the event was the absence of local BJP strongman and Chikkaballapura MP Bachchegowda (and his son Sharat Bachchegowda) at the rally.
