Bengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and former CM Siddaramaiah have urged the people to respect the Supreme Court’s verdict on the Ayodhya title dispute, a historic judgment that was announced on Saturday, November 9. Both the leaders have appealed to the people to maintain peace.

In a tweet, Yediyurappa asked the people to wholeheartedly welcome the Apex Court’s verdict. “This is neither a victory for anyone, nor a defeat for anyone. Don’t react emotionally. Let the harmony and peace prevail,” he wrote.

Siddaramaiah tweeted that the people should respect the judgement of the Supreme Court on Ram Janmabhumi-Babri Masjid land issue. “Let us have belief in the Constitution framed in the democratic setup. Let Peace & Harmony prevail,” he wrote.
